Welcome to our country pub, where modern comfort meets timeless tradition. Located just outside Wickford High Street, we pride ourselves on offering a warm, relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels at home—from families and friends to four-legged companions.

At the bar, you’ll find a carefully curated selection of cask ales, perfectly poured and ever-rotating, alongside crisp, chilled lagers, wine list, and a refreshing range of seasonal cocktails.

Whether you’re popping in for a quiet pint or celebrating something special, there’s always something to suit the occasion.

Our kitchen serves food daily from 12pm to 9pm, with a menu that celebrates hearty pub classics and seasonal favourites.

Sundays are a true highlight, with our much-loved roast dinners—complete with all the trimmings and generous free top-ups on roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, and rich, flavourful gravy. It’s comfort food at its finest, made to be shared and enjoyed.

Outside, our spacious country beer garden offers the perfect setting to unwind. With open space for children to play, and floodlighting for those longer evenings, it’s a place to relax whatever the time of day.

Families are always welcome, and dogs can join you in the garden when kept on a lead.

We also offer a large covered patio available from March through to November, making us an ideal venue for celebrations, gatherings, and special events. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or community get-together, we provide the space and atmosphere to make it memorable.
